From fall to spring, the turtleneck sweater dress is a workhorse in my closet. It’s effortlessly stylish and acts as the most versatile base layer – pair it with booties and a trench coat or moto jacket for going out and a blazer like this one and heels for workwear. If you have narrow ankles, these booties fit nicely at the waist but also stretch comfortably! The heel looks a lot longer than I’m used to wearing these days, but it really felt more comfortable than I expected as the fit held my foot and ankle tightly. The square nose shape gives it an updated feel and of course I love these neutral shades. They’re also great for wearing under wider-leg trousers or straight/wide-leg jeans to keep your ankles warm – one of the most important questions is whether straight jeans have been resurgent!

This is a slim pant specially designed from a very stretchy, lightly textured material that makes it comfortable enough for WFH and all day sitting. It comes in classic colors like black and navy, but also a more unique, lovely neutral taupe. To me this is a full length pant (not the ankle) and I usually go with the Short inseams because it’s a bit shorter than their Petite.
