Happy Thursday ladies. Braids are the trend this fall… It’s like saying swimsuit trend in summer 🙂 seeing some old-new-shapes and lots of comfortable options. Everyone is ready to wear real clothes but we want to be comfortable and this is where braids come into play. The knitwear trends for the fall of 2021 are sweater vests, short sweaters, oversized sweaters, lots of cables and polo sweaters.

Oversized sweaters are very popular in the fall and I love them. I caught my eye it’s been weeks…waiting for a sale and trying to decide where to wear it. Many of them are ribbed, wired, and in classic ways on steroids. Short sweaters are ideal for petite women. They are just below or above the waist. I like to wear mine over a longer shirt and it shows the shirt below.
It’s a great way to break your proportions and salute your waist without squeezing anything or wearing a belt.

These work well for women who prefer a little structure in their knitwear. They are available with or without a button on the front placket. this polo cardigan It has full buttons on the front. I love the way collars frame the face and would even layer it over a collared shirt. Most of these are short and boxy, which is another popular knitwear trend for fall.

I started noticing these early last summer. They come as long as there are tunics with or without buttons, short to the waist, corded, v-neck, hooded and turtleneck. These are not the patterned sweater vests our fathers wore, but that look is available.
