I’m partnering with ASOS again for an IG post about clothes for different occasions (watch video here!), I wanted to share details about fabrics and sizes. In addition to the images below, I wanted to share a few more pieces that caught my eye as we entered the fall. Oversized but petite-friendly blazers are pretty tough, so I grabbed this blazer Will share photos on XS Petite and soon in a post! I was also looking for comfortable “daddy pants” (definitely my favorite trend lately) and found a few. minion sizing but I haven’t tried it myself yet.
What would I wear: weekend brunch
This two-piece set is made from a lightweight, fluid linen blend. this shorts Run very small with no stretch at the waist so I have sized up to 2P for them and they measure 12.75″ across the waist.
For shirt jacketmy usual size 00 Petite is still a little oversized so I will definitely stick with my upper size.
Also available regular sizing
What would I wear: summer drinks
This belted overalls It feels very elongated and comfortable with adjustable shoulder straps. It’s made from a lightweight, stretchy fabric that’s thinner and has some texture. This one got stuck in the middle part and I wanted to wiggle it a bit so I made 2 Petite two sizes up and it feels comparable to the XXS to XS Petite in American brands. Even with flat shoes the length works for me (I’m 5 feet tall). I would recommend this for smaller chests based on the style and cut of the bust cups.
Also available regular sizing in black
What would I wear: a wedding
Moreover normal and long sizes
I was drawn to the bold silhouette and color of this tie shoulder dress, and cascading bow tie shoulders make it feel ultra feminine. I got my usual 00 petite as the corset stretched. Note, whenever you see the word “scuba” on ASOS clothing, it means it’s made of a neoprene-like fabric. Scuba tends to be a medium to thicker weight with a texture rather than a more floral fabric.
