The fashion world was in mourning when Barneys New York closed in early 2020. But things started to change in late 2022 when Louis Vuitton took over the department store space as part of the “200 Trunks, 200 Visionary: The Exhibition” traveling exhibition. With that came the temporary resurrection of Fred at Barneys.
While the popup is now over, there is something equally exciting and enduring. Barneys Miss New York launches here and with a range of personal care products available both online and at Saks.
Just in time for the dry winter months, star products include hand wash and hand cream and body care products such as body wash and body lotion. The new products inspired by nature were developed in partnership with some of the world’s leading fragrance manufacturers and used vegan ingredients.
Three fragrances are available:
- BETTER BETTER (flowering citrus)
- DRAW EVERYTHING (aromatic green)
- MYSTERY FOR EVERY DAY (flowery woody)

We can expect more launches in the coming months for this clean, fresh line that reminds me of it from what I’ve personally seen. Byredo both odor and aesthetic.
