Happy Saturday ladies. I just came home from Mexico and I feel pretty lucky to have had some good weather. I can’t call it pretty, but it’s nice enough to go for a walk and take off my white jeans. Our flight was delayed for several hours on the way home, so we didn’t go to bed until after midnight and swore we’d never fly over LAX again… let’s see how long that will take because this is a pretty important hub on the west coast.
It’s time for our weekly fashion discussion. Every week, my friend Pam and I share a model we saw and ask how you can wear the model. Last week we talked about the ikat pants that many of you love!
This week, I want to hear your thoughts on Chico’s 40th Anniversary Ikat Clip-on Dress. This is a lightweight rayon blend that is flowing, elegant and available in both small and regular.
Chico’s started out as a pretty bohemian brand with many ethnic prints. They’ve added neutrals and some classic pieces over the years, but they like to go back to their roots, as with these Ikat models. I don’t wear very bohemian things, but These earrings caught my attention.. Here are a few other fun pieces from this current collection:
