I often create my silk scarf collection as a way to add prints and bursts of color to my neutral, solid wardrobe. If you’re worried about looking like a flight attendant with one of these around your neck, an easy alternative is to dress up a purse handle! The scarf can protect delicate leather handles from natural skin oils and lotions, and can also change the look of the bag to coordinate with different outfits.

Top: Hermes Kelly bag (store second hand) + Twilly scarf
Middle: caffeine bag c/o + scarf (never heard of this shop before but bought it + liked the scarf!)
Lower: longchamp bag + $14 silk scarf

This is common with Twilly scarves in the Hermes community, but I love how all brands look with their scarves and bags. If you have an upcoming warm weather trip, I find this especially cute over a straw or woven bag.

If the bag has double handles, like my Longchamp bag below, you can tie it to just one sleeve or use two scarves for both. This navy blue silk scarf it was vibrant, good quality and reasonably priced if you had to buy two of the same (and I love how the colorful Longchamp bag looks in the review photo!)!

This posture bag Cafuné was a new gift from a minimal Hong Kong label and my first impression was that it was really beautiful and well made. It feels like a less formal, modern and lighter version of my Kelly bag with the similar top handle clutch shape that I love. I haven’t had a chance to use my Cafuné bag much yet, but if there is interest, I’ll gladly review it after I take it out again.

Back to the scarf style – there are many different ways of wrapping the scarf, but this is how I usually do it to get 2 tail ends of the same length. You can also check my how-to video On IG (released Sunday morning)!
