Now that the cold weather is upon us, a question I often get is how to properly tie a sash belt on a coat. step one
Start on one side of the tie much longer than the other and hold it in your dominant hand.
step 2
Wrap it once in your hand and pull the tail end. Essentially, you’re tying a loose knot with this side of the belt.
Stage 3
Take the other end of the belt with your other hand and thread the tail through the knot you created in step 2.
Step 4
Pull on both tail ends to tighten the knot as needed and make any final adjustments. For example, I prefer to keep my knot slightly sideways rather than right in the middle!
