I’m a big fan of Spanx so no wonder I love it Spanx Faux Leather Leggings. And while there are a million ways to style them, I tend to go back to a few favorite style recipes that I think make me look casually chic. Here are six ways to wear my Spanx Faux leather leggings.

1. Wear a Chunky Oversized Sweater
This is probably the most fun way to wear them, but first a little about the leggings. These Spanx Faux Croc Tights, which is new and quite nice. It’s a great color – very dark chocolate brown with a textured alligator finish that looks very luxurious.
I have always found that an oversized sweater looks very stylish with faux leather leggings. The wide, skinny silhouette is always very flattering, and if you can find a rich fall color like this mustard to go with dark faux leather, it’s a match made in heaven. Be sure to wear booties to create that dramatic inverted triangle shape!

2. Comfort in Long Cardigan
Another great look with faux leather leggings is to wear a tee with a long cardigan – the softer and thinner the cardigan, the more elegant a faux leather leggings look. I wore a belt on my cardigan because the bottom of my t-shirt was short.
I wouldn’t wear this open with a short tee and leggings, but you could if you had a longer top – otherwise, too much info with tight leggings as they say.

3. Think Pink
Ok Here’s another long sweater faux leather leggings, but it’s not that big and still looks good! (You should be in the mood for a dramatic first mustard-like sweater because it can overwhelm you!) What I love about this sweater is that the dark leather tights are an icy pink pastel color. When I got this the cashier said, “Oh, you’re getting our Candy Floss sweater” and I thought, yeah, pretty much this color.
That’s why it’s the sweet feminine colored soft sweater with crisp leather leggings that makes this outfit such an exciting combination. Girl meets boy, sweet innocent biker. Note that these leggings are not alligator, but they have a very fine texture, which is very nice.

4. Try on a Tunic Sweater
If you want to take a better look at this tunic sweater, have a look at this leggings post. You will see that it is a long sweater with slits in the sides, so it is a very sporty look with these tights. These are the same leggings as above. I bought a small as I am a size 6 and boy was it murder to get into them for the first time! But now they’re relaxed, but not to the point where they can’t hold it all in! They feature an ultra-comfortable, strong waistband to provide the flat tummy you need while wearing tights.

5. Slip on Long Belted Blouse
This is a cute look. Here are the same tights as the tunic blouse with a darling belt that I bought from Zara. It’s high in the front and low in the back, which is great because it covers your butt and is also very stylish. Plus, they’ve got long side slits so you get a glimpse of the sexy faux leather on your hips as you move.
I wore contrast booties to highlight the black tights. If you are short, you can go with a dark colored bootie to elongate the legs. (In case you were wondering, I’m 5’7″

6. Wear a Long V-Neck Sweater
This is another high-low sweater, although it’s hard to tell here as I’m sitting down; you got this job. You want to cover your private parts and butt; however, a straight cut top is not very flattering.
It’s boxed and makes you look wide if it cuts off your widest point. The high-low provides the coverage you need and creates a diagonal at the sides that reveals some hips. This is more weight loss.

Most of the tops I have in my closet for a long time, but I tried to find long, thick sweaters that I could connect with. I hope I’ve given you a few ideas for wearing Faux Leather tights, and if you’ve never worn them before, you can now get closer to wearing them with confidence.
