Sweater dresses are the perfect weather for when you want to be comfortable while still looking stylish and feminine. Fitted knit dresses tend to accentuate my lower belly, while shift dresses with a straighter cut are more comfortable and easy to wear for me. When petite was looking for a mini length to balance out the loose fit, I found the key to pulling off a shift dress.

Ribbed Knitwear Dress

Sweater dresses are hard to change, so I was happy to see that this one is very petite-friendly and is flattering even with sneakers and flat shoes! I rolled up the slightly flared sleeves a few inches, but the cuff is so long it looks like the deliberately cuffed sweater dresses I’ve seen in stores. It’s an oversized cut across the body and a warm, chunky ribbed knit (not thin).
1. Casual Stylish: Chelsea Boots
Mine Caslon boots It has been a casual favorite for the past few years. The platform style adds a little edge to the outfits, and the waterproof feature is so practical for the Boston weather! Pair them with black tights or long black stockings for a sustained lengthening effect. Sizing starts at 4. Check out how I styled these boots. here, here and here.
2. Dress Up: Long Boots
I bought the Nine West boots pictured below a few seasons ago, but I’ve found a few similar styles currently available. I was watching Schutz Maryanna tall boots since last year and finally placed an order and are so excited to try them!
3. Dress Up: Sneakers
If it’s not too cold outside, white leather sneakers are an easy way to wear a sweater dress for an effortless and casual look. wearing V-10 style here (last style here with pants), but if you are discussing the first pair, camping style to be the most comfortable styles. My V-10s in size 35 are comfortable only when I add my heel lift inserts because I have low ankles.
