I feel like I learned the hard way, and what they say is absolutely true – the nights are long but the years are short. From the last post to this post, please meet our light and joy, Kinsley.
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted and honestly I miss writing and posting. The world has changed since I was last here. Everything, especially online content is now faster and shorter, and long-form content like blogs and posts are not much preferred. I hope to post more regularly and hope this site gives you a sense of calm and serenity. Thank you for being here as you read this.
I thought these family photos were the perfect way to catch up and start over. This when i last posted Kinsley was still in my stomach. He is one now. ONE! Where has the time gone?! This journey has been challenging and incredibly rewarding at the same time. My pregnancy was really easy, delivery was a nightmare, the recovery was lousy and for the first 6-8 months he was completely sleep deprived. But watching him grow has been my greatest pleasure. He’s extremely attentive, he’s very concerned about people, he currently hates changing his diapers, and we think his love language is words of affirmation.
I’ll be sure to come back to my fashion posts and give Feedback I got on Instagramwill post more reviews, size information and details. Having said that, let’s start with this white blazer ($150) and white slip dress ($60). I try so hard these days Negative to sew anything, but when a product is very good, I make the investment. This blazer + slip dress was worth the investment.
The sleeves and length of the blazer had to be shortened (for sizing reference, I am 5 feet tall and 110 pounds) and the straps of the slip dress and the length had to be shortened. For petite frames, you may need to do some tailoring here and there to get the perfect fit. Enjoy these two pieces for non-petite frames! And financially speaking – the blazer has a nice weight to it and the slip dress is silky soft and has plenty of movement. Both are personally beautiful!
