Flat Shoes Luxury Wedding Guest Dress

Happy Monday ladies. I’m thinking about what I’ve read today and a woman who inspired me with her luxurious wedding guest dress and flat shoes.

One of my goals this year was to read more books. My daughter set myself book goals last year and I found it amazing. I’m not that ambitious, so I’m just making a concerted effort to read more. I include audiobooks in my count (though I don’t really count them) because I use them while walking, ironing, driving, etc. I am listening.

I restarted this weekend Along the Endless Sea, I tried to enter last summer. This time I galloped off, maybe because I just finished another book by Elizabeth Williams I’m enjoying her writing style.

the flats i wear my newest Margaux Demi in color, Dove. I love a classic ballet flat, but most of them hit the sore spot on my bunion. These come in tons of colors and widths, plus the drawstring is a working cord that I loosened on my left foot to make some more room for my bunion. I discussed getting another pair of Cerulean Blue as I almost wore them out, but I love this pale gray for summer.

BTW, when did the veins on the top of my feet get as tight as those on the back of my hands?

I think I’ve read every book Sarah Ban Breathnach wrote in the ’90s. He had a way of looking at life that appealed to me then and now.

I actually still have the old smudged copy of this hardcover book, but I bought the audiobook because it’s read by the author and I find her voice as comforting as she says. FYI, I still have 6 or more boxes of books in my garage that may never see the light of day unless they’re on the bookshelves I want.
