Faux Suede Moto Jacket Outfit

I am a big fan of all types of suede. It has a sleeker and softer appearance than leather (artificial or real), and the lack of shine is more flattering to most women’s complexions. Real suede can be a nightmare needs to be cleaned, so I tend to fake it because it’s affordable, machine washable, and easy.

On today’s ootd is a faux suede moto jacket that I fell in love with at first sight. Looks like I’m not alone as it sells out fast. They call this color Purple Haze, but it looks more like a cool brown to me…which I don’t see very often. Also available in 3 different colors including black. Moto jackets have a hard edge so I prefer them in suede or faux suede which helps soften the look.

Since this entire outfit is tonal, it softens the effect even more. My crew neck sweater is a cotton blend cream with a very light fluffy texture. It comes in 8 colors, sizes XS-4X. I wear a small and could go all the way up to a medium for a looser fit.

I combined a cream sweater and brown jacket with this high waist., Slim-fit, side zip trousers from Target. This color is called dark brown, but it looks more like taupe when compared to the dark brown of the coat. Sizes 0-18 and 14W-26W work with a variety of colors and plaids. I’m wearing 6.

I booked the outfit ballet flats very similar to the color of my hair as it is now. They’re also faux suede but not in the same category as the jacket, or almost soft. The pants look green in the photo above, but it’s a light trick.

You can definitely combine this outfit with necklaces, scarves, bracelets, etc. I could embellish it with, but here I like the cleaner look of soft, pale neutrals on their own.
