I did a little series on it a few years ago. shoe swap shows how to easily change clothes with a change of shoes. I wanted to make another shoe change that included comfortable work wear like this relaxed fit crepe pull on pants (Also see them here under “business creative”). The stretch material and elastic waist make these a great option for both casual and work wear, and the length even works on my 5′ tall frame to pair with both flats and heels. I reach for these pants so often that the color black (fully stocked) is next on my list!
1. With Pumps:
For casual work wear, a meeting or a presentation, I added a printed topcoat and stylish V-cut pumps to brighten the look! I reached out to Sarah Flint to give it a try. excellent pumps and they are beautifully handmade inside and out. They come in different heights and have unique cushioning on the arches for extra support, as you can see in the first photo above.
2. With sneakers:
It’s actually what I wear on a daily basis, for drop-off and pick-up from daycare, grocery shopping, and other errands! My Everlane sneakers have proven to be an all-round favorite ever since. this review post Long time ago. The off-white color goes with everything and works much better with retro-inspired cut dresses, jeans, and ankle pants than with regular athletic-style sneakers.
This has been one of my fall staples for the past two years. Everlane alpaca sweater, but I completely forgot how itched when I arrived…so much so that I almost immediately returned it when I first got it! It definitely softens up after a few uses, I completely forgot how the pack felt until I recently ordered a second one in the new camel brown colour. I love the oversized but not overwhelming cut and how light and airy it is, so if you don’t mind the bit of itching at first (wear it over a tee) it was well worth it to me! The almond color is a beautiful cream with a hint of taupe.
For those who want something more affordable, soft and wool-free right from the start, this $35 BP sweater It is a super budget friendly and very similar neutral oatmeal color that I am wearing in the photo below.
3. Flat:
For a casual yet polished outfit (i.e. for teachers who need to be on their feet most of the day!) Rothy’s apartments with a little pressure for interest. To see in my opinion in many Rothy styles!
