Dressing Room Diary – Fresh Spring Colors by J. Jill

As I mentioned over the weekend, I’m craving for more colors. Our gray, dreary days really impress me sometimes, so a square or two of bright colors brings everything to life. I couldn’t see much color through the J. Jill window, but once I got inside I saw more.

If you’re new here, welcome. A locker room diary when i go to a local store to see what’s new and show you what this looks like on a woman over 25. I have broad shoulders, straight hips, a tall torso and long arms. I usually buy one size bigger on the top. You will see that I try on clothes in colors and shapes that may or may not like me because I want you to see what’s in store and get some style ideas. To help you understand how things work, I’ll tell you what sizes I wear.

J. Jill has made it easy to size each style so that it can normally be found in sizes XS-4X. The petite and tall models are still available in some popular styles, and all sizes are priced similarly.

There weren’t many dresses on the floor yet, but this one caught my eye because green is such a popular color for spring. This linen/rayon blend dress comes in black or this fern green. The V-neck is flattering and the overall cut isn’t bulky. Yes, he collected the layers, Againbecause the fabric is soft, they lie flat, Small House in the Meadow vibrations in the bay. This size hits the middle of my normal little knee. The petite is 2″ shorter.

This slub is textured cable sweater very light and perfect for spring. It comes in fresh green or this yellow color which really appeals to me. This is a lightweight cotton blend that you can wear over other items like a long-sleeved t-shirt or blouse until it warms up. This sweater is long enough to be worn over leggings. I love how yellow looks with green so I paired it with these. cotton pull-on pants. These are a cotton/rayon/spandex blend with plenty of stretch. They come in five colors. This has a regular 28″ inseam, petite 25 1/2″ and tall 30 1/2″. This beautiful border pattern scarf It connects both colors and looks beautiful, separates the pants close to the face.

These vanilla colors tweed sweater It has a round neck with crochet border and 3/4 sleeves. It is a cotton blend that will spread the seasons in a versatile neutral way. I’m wearing it on these slim bootcut jeans blue or from this natural shade. The fabric of natural is a little stronger than denim, so they recommend getting one size up. I didn’t find it necessary but now you know 🙂

I completed the look with this hooded jacket with a drawstring to wrap around the waist. It is a great cotton/lyocell blend for spring. Long enough to cover all your tunic sweaters, which I find very useful.

This utility jacket it resembles a denim jacket with a stand-up collar. It comes in blue, beige, or pale green. A great all-purpose jacket for spring with great reviews from customers. I wear it over a sleeveless double-faced jersey A cut dress. J Jill calls it maxi but regular S is calf length for me, so close to midi. The petite version is 3″ shorter, which confirms it’s a midi. It’s a solid knit with a nice drape that also comes in black. This dress can easily be worn or worn with a pair of white skins for graduation, baby shower or errands.

these boyfriend jeans they are really awesome and so comfortable, they almost came home with me. These are actually stretch pants with jeans made from a 12% elastane cotton blend! This makes them as comfortable as leggings. Normally 27″, petite 25″ and 29½” long they have an inseam adhesive cuff. These “jeans” come in three colors. I matched them with theirs wearproof layering tankA great length for leggings and tight pants. Three colors and single printing are available. I filled them with this Pure Jill Peplum jacket. Made from organic cotton knotted terry cloth that feels like pajamas. It has stitched pockets and is also quite long to cover the tunic tops.

Here’s another great “jeans” I love the feel of. This is 5 pockets, knit pull-on jeans It is the customer’s favorite every season. They have enough spandex to keep their shape and look like jeans to feel as comfortable as a leggings. Inseams are 29″ regular, 27″ petite and 31½” tall. You can also hem the bottoms for a more sporty look. This soft crew neck cardigan this is a cotton blend that comes in blue or black. A great, versatile cardigan that will go through so many things this spring.

This pleated halterneck dress is in a lightly woven crêpe fabric with a wide strapped hem in the opposite direction of the print. It requires a racerback or strapless bra, or you can plan to wear a cardigan or a thin jacket 🙂

I couldn’t resist this fresh, chicory green color. It may not be in my best color palette, but wow. fun! It also comes in dandelion or black. It is a low hip cotton blend that goes with most things. On the left, I’m wearing it Pure Jill slim leg panT. These are cotton, Tencel, spandex knit with flat elastic waistband. They come in three colors and are machine washable. On the left, I tucked the sweater halfway into them. authentic fit slim-leg jeans. These come in five colors and are super comfortable. I don’t know which look I like the most.
