Good Friday ladies. I returned to Chico’s this week to share a few things I found in their newest spring collection. I’m lucky to have two local stores where I can shop because not every store buys everything. I shared my first batch favorites here, and today I have an April locker room diary to show you the rest.
If you’re new here, welcome. The locker room diary can see what’s new and how it looks on a woman over 25 when I go to a local store for a trial session. shoulders and straight hips. I have a long torso and arms so I usually get a size up on the top. I try on clothes in colors and shapes that can flatter me so you can see what’s in store and get style ideas. This beaded tunic It caught my eye online and I couldn’t wait to try it because the orange and pink color combination really started to grow on me. My store only had regular stock, but petite is online here. I actually don’t mind the extra 2″ length because it’s translucent. It can be dress up and even work as a swimsuit cover. I’m wearing it over the top. microfiber tank I collect in my favorite colors and new So Slimming 360 Brigitte ankle trousers which comes in 7 colors. Tunic is size 4/6, tank top is size 8/10 and trousers are size 6.
This green poplin fabric is a beautiful combination of crisp and stretchy. This shape doesn’t look very good on my broad shoulders, but it helps balance a woman with narrow shoulders and wide hips. I wear 8/10. High vent umbrella inserts have a 24-inch inseam. It is a pull-on style, so there are no zips or snaps to stick out in the tummy area. I’m wearing 6.
This machine-washable, lightweight linen and cotton dress is a great all-over look for warm weather. Also available at: here is white. I’m wearing a 4/6 that’s too tight for my shoulders so it works the TTS. Delicate beadwork means all you need is a few simple earrings, a pair of sandals and you’re ready. I see this dressed up for a backyard barbecue, a pool party, errands on the weekends, or a baby/bridal shower with a change of accessories and handbags.
we chatted about product of this length when my model modeled them last week. I wanted to share the difference 1 1/2″ can make. They sit on the widest part of my calf on the left, and on the right I fold them under so that they stay where my legs narrow. The most flattering length for any skirt, short, short or trouser is a point where your leg narrows.
This utility tee is coming 3 colors hereand here in blue or white. I wear 8/10. Sweatpants are made of 100% machine washable linen and buttoned hems. The inseam is 24″. They also come in a soft blue. I’m wearing an 8 which is too big for me so they look looser than they should.
This romantic cardigan is a great light layer for warm weather. The elbow-length sleeves are loose, allowing air circulation. A cotton blend in a modern geometric that goes with many other colors. I wear 8/10 so the fit is generous because it stretches.
These wide-leg linen trousers are selling out fast, so they may have been gone by the time I got this shipment. It is a pull-on style of alabaster. The inseam is 30 1/2″, so I’m on my toes for you to see, and for flat shoes I’ll have to hem them in. They’re a fuller leg than I thought. wide. I love the flowy shape that will make it feel very cool in hot weather. I’m wearing 4 and I feel they’re expanding a bit. I like that the fabric blend includes spandex for comfort.
I like linen and non-iron linen is even better. She still crinkles gently but that’s part of the charm of her look. Polka dots are a perennial favorite and have a fresh look that’s perfect for spring. This 3/4 sleeve tunicc, white, navy blue features a soft lemon yellow button detail that will look great with any wash of denim. I also like that the zip or half zip isn’t too long if you want to. I’m wearing a 4 that’s a little tight so it can run the TTS.
If you’re like me, your white jeans are a magnet for dirt. The smudge-proof technology Chico uses is pretty cool and it really works. I’m wearing unblemished girlfriend crop tops with curled bottoms. When I open them they are almost full length on me with a 26.5 inch inseam. They also come petite with a 22-inch inseam. I’m wearing 6 regulars.
These piled up wear Comes in 7 colors with 24 inch inseam. Like all girlfriend jeans, they have lots of spandex for stretch and comfort. This minion option here 22″ in 4 colors with inseam. I wear a regular size 6 which is a little loose from the seat area for them to run the TTS.
The lightweight sweater is a cotton blend with short sleeves and a round neckline. I wear 4/6 which is wide because it is wide. This one is on sale too.
I’m stuck this ruana, first thing on the door. The colors are soft and pretty and coordinate with so many things. XXS/XS at 39.5 inches… It comes in S/M at 40.5 inches and L/XL at 41.5 inches. I wear XXS/XS and it’s pretty roomy. These single worn ankle jeggings With 29.5 inch inseam and pull style. I’m wearing size 6. The water does not exactly match the color in the ruana coordinates.
