“I had a great experience working with Raven. My goal was for our bride to feel great in a dress that was custom made for her. With Raven’s gorgeous body and desire for an elegant wedding dress, we wanted to highlight her curves with a flared mermaid style. After the first rehearsal to myself… it’s time to show plus-size women all over the world that they too can have the wedding dress of their dreams, and that’s what we set out to do.”

The off-the-shoulder mermaid dress with lace accents was gorgeous. Plus, it wasn’t Hubbard’s first time working with the actress. She was often dressed in a “ready-to-wear” style, so a tailor-made wedding dress was a different experience.
“Many of our looks that Raven has worn are outside of our Ready-to-Wear collections. While we’re still on the luxury side of fashion, this wedding dress definitely sets the bar for our favorite looks from Raven! We’ve been able to get away with some special moments for her and her family, and we’re so excited about what’s next!”

Fashion Brand Provides Plus-Size Bridal Looks for Three Years
Ashontay Hubbard founded Christian Omeshun seven years ago. It is a contemporary plus size fashion brand dedicated to serving made-to-order meals for sizes 12-32. Hubbard knew all too well – the struggle of plus-size women to find quality, trendy clothing.
