I’m really struggling with my phone. I always drop it. (Somehow, my husband doesn’t use a case for his phone and manages to keep it in one piece, but I would never risk it.) That’s why I buy a case from OtterBox. Brand, bulky, sturdy bags (and their Defender series provides it if you need it), but mine – from the Symmetry series – looks basically like a thicker-than-normal case, while being super strong.
While my case has minor chips/scratches on a few corners (after a few months), I can’t imagine what my phone would look like without it. I’m sure it won’t be useful. The case is solid, but the phone buttons are still easy to use, and the back is slightly textured for better grip. (You can leave the case open for wireless charging, but that will charge a little slower.)
Amazon carries the Symmetry line to: iPhone, SAMSUNGAnd Google Pixel. I bought this is SE 2nd generation case lately (still really love my SE!), but here is one for iPhone 13/14, pictured above. (Both solids and prints are available from OtterBox.)
Note: Dropping my phone all the time ALSO causes me to change screen protectors very quickly – my favorite brand to try ZAGGavailable Amazon. Pro tip: If you register your protector with ZAGG.com at the time of purchase, you can get a protector later. Warranty replacement if it is broken just by paying the shipping cost.
