We featured this loafer before, and for good reason – one of the highest rated loafer shoes on the Nordstrom website (almost 600 good reviews!). Sam Edelman’s usual wide range of sizes has a ton of colors for under $100: sizes 4-13 in medium and large sizes.
Some of the colors on sale are velvet (including this gorgeous red raspberry velvet above) – which just begs the question: What months can you wear velvet? A quick Google shows me lots of random blogs advising that you can wear it year-round, but avoid it in very hot or very cold weather.
For my $0.02, you can wear it in jacket weather (roughly October to April, but as early as September and as late as May), especially if velvet shoes live in the office. What are your thoughts readers? Do you find someone wearing velvet shoes weird in the spring?
