The big Sephora Collection sale is on right now – 30% off their already affordable price. I’ve had great success with almost everything I’ve bought from Sephora Collection lately, so I recommend it.
Some of my recent favourites:
- Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick (above, $15 full price) – there are zillions of colors and it’s really comfortable to wear for a long-wearing lipstick.
- #LipStories lipstick — $10, tons of colors; they also have pretty good staying power for a simple lipstick. I think the two I got were from the customs department and are nowhere to be found – one’s color name is related to astrology (Sagittarius, I believe) and it’s almost 100% copycat for MAC’s Odyssey.
- Sephora Color Eyeshadow – Admittedly I only have a super black eyeshadow (Black Lace), but it’s really great – the color is intense and a little goes a long way. (I like to put eyeshadow on top of the liner, both for smudging a bit and because I feel the two stay put better.)
- Sephora primer – no complaints
- This Sephora Collection brushes looks really good – I wouldn’t call myself an expert by any means; I try to buy a new brush every sale to expand my collection.
For my $0.02, I had no luck with their mascaras or mascara related products, but I’m picky about mascara.
