Anyone else doing the “skin bike” that has become so popular lately? The idea is it’s a gentle yet effective way to help reveal new skin so you look fresher and brighter. Night 1: Acid treatment. Night 2: Retinol or trentinoin. Night 3 and 4: closed. (Here’s a NYT article with more information.)
I’ve been trying to do this (somehow I reversed nights 1 and 2 for a while, wow) and decided to give it a try this Ole Henriksen acid treatment instead of Sunday Riley Good Genes. (I still love Good Genes, but I also feel like it’s a little softer than I’d like for it – but then, I don’t have very sensitive skin so your mileage may vary!)
In any case: I really like Ole Henriksen, but it definitely takes a little longer to get absorbed into my skin than Sunday Riley. I love the smell and love the effects I see.
While the big Sephora sale is going on, now is a great time to stock up on any skincare app like this one — 10-20% off everything (depending on your “level” at Sephora) and 30% off all Sephora until November 7th. Collection supplies.
this illustrated skin treatment The full price is $59 at Sephora. You can also get it as part of Day Bright and Smooth Night gift set or this Acids Done Brilliant gift set.
Oooh: take note Dyson dryer it’s not excluded from the sale as far as I can tell at least at the VIB level…
