I finally donated my old black trench coat last year. I had spent what seemed like a fortune at the time and had worn it out for over 20 years, so I got my money’s worth. I have a pale pink Talbots trench coat that I love, but the color limits what I can wear, so I bought this classic spring trench coat this year.
when i noticed from this Loft, It looked exactly like what I was looking for. Rather than making a statement like the colorful ones, this trench feels like a clean slice of white bread that will go with anything.
The name says swing, but I find it a straight and comfortable fit. It has a long back vent for ease of movement and button stripes on the sleeves…otherwise, it’s simple, stylish and classic.
All the doodles left this classic spring trench coat, making it even more versatile. The single-breasted style is generally understated and is an almond-neutral beige.
Even the belt lacks the buckles that many camel trench coats come with. This plain jacket will be a must in my wardrobe for years to come. It comes in regular and petite, XXS-XXL sizes. I am wearing a small petite here and find the sleeves a little short so I ordered the regular small and am more happy with the fit.
I greatly value this umbrella, which was a gift from my husband in the 80’s. Now they call it nostalgic. There are many used on eBay. One of my favorite parts of this umbrella is the wonderful wooden handle that I often hang my bag on while trying to carry lots of things.
I’m wearing my favorite stretch under the hood, washable crepe Eileen Fisher pants every time a new color goes on sale, i catch it right away. They wash like a dream and are perfect for travel because they are as comfortable as leggings but look brighter.
