Our best few weeks in Boston are officially here and the weather is just fine for us most days we’re just looking for a light jacket or a thick sweater! Inspired by Nori’s class, which regularly takes nature walks and outdoor picnics, I went leaf-watching in the neighborhood and captured this amazing view in the park. My outfit follows one of my favorite smart casual formulas when I want to feel put together with minimal effort, and it could work with flats or sneakers, too!
Wool Blazer
I shared this navy blue blazer jacket first this spring and paired it with a button down and nude pumps for another timeless outfit combination. I bought the same blazer from camel a while ago and it is a bit more assertive than my other blazers due to the gold buttons. Compared with J.Crew Regent blazer jacket Also, the Banana Republic captain blazer I show regularly is slightly longer and with a more defined neckline, it fits the waist more and is more fitting.
Slim Jeans
I recently bought these Madewell vintage wash jeans and they this post. For a similar look and lower price points these are Levi’s jeans stay favorites from two years ago! Note that Levi’s is buttoned up and Madewell’s has a zipper and is slightly larger at the waist by comparison. I had to cut the hems of both brands for the length I prefer.
Cap Toe Pumps
I get questions about these every time I wear them and unfortunately many sizes are currently out of stock! I made these as an everyday low pump that can be paired with sleeker office or more casual denim looks.
Taupe Layered Top
Exactly the top I’m wearing, an old Uniqlo find but J. Crew Factory It has a similar color turtleneck. Surprisingly, it has been one of my most reaching for layering tops over the years, as the color works with both warm and cool brown tones and pretty much ALL other neutral tones like cream, gray, navy or black!
