Spring is a great time for cleaning and it’s time to take another look at your booth as you freshen up for the new season.

Our Seller Advisory Panel has been working with us for almost a year. They helped us set goals, alerted us to hot spots from a seller’s point of view, and came back with some tips to share with their Bonanzler friends.

with Rita Laverty Moments in Thyme and vintagehoney shares this:

“I look forward to this time of year. I like to refresh lists with new phrasing or additional information that I may have skipped six months, maybe even a year ago. Did I just say that? Yes, I did! Sometimes when writing a list we forget to include all the details, we review the list a second time. We can add that we didn’t add it the first time by passing

You may be off track because of a distraction I make from time to time. Big dog and small dog are barking and my son wants my attention when going out with his friends. While we were making the lists, we were all distracted. After six months, you may find that what you thought you fixed was really overlooked, so now is the time to add or remove additional information from a list. A few new photos, keywords, weight check for shipping eg; maybe shipping in a polybag or bubble bag compared to a box when shipping an unbreakable item. When I thought the item could be shipped in a box, I now had a polybag or bubble bag on hand that could be used for shipping. Recently I looked through my listings and looked at a few items here and there. Six months ago my thoughts on how to ship an item for an unbreakable item have now changed to save my buyer the cost of shipping. I felt good that I found an error and corrected it for the benefit of my future buyer. You can do it too!”

“I know we always look at our sales numbers in the spring to refresh our memory and see what’s selling at that time of year. In automotive, people have more time for projects that aren’t repaired because it’s too cold and aren’t being repaired because they’re ‘working’. Good enough’ or, for example, air conditioning not needed. Now that spring has come, they are getting into projects like fixing the window regulator, air conditioning compressor, cleaning the interior, maybe replacing that rusty fender or door. Others, take a look at your inventory and see what ‘you’ would rather do during the warmer months and I’d say most likely others have the same thought. under and to flatten the sand. If not, put those items on sale there or get sales promotions so they’re on posters and advertisements to get them moving. It turns out that incentive checks and tax refunds come out, some people pay bills s but what others have neglected last year has to spend. This may be what you need to sell and keep your business flourishing in this crazy time! Good luck everyone and stay safe.”

“Time for spring cleaning and outdoor winter cleaning. Open windows, clean cabinets and update your Bonanza booth! Some products have new features to fill in. Shipping costs need to be evaluated and adjusted with some needing an additional dimensional control. Pricing needs to evaluate and adjust. Used to be popular reviewing the inventory knowing that some items that are outdated are no longer in favour.”

“Hi! My only thought is to make sure all my supplies are full – duct tape, padded envelopes, ink for the printer, etc.”

Our triage specialist, Judy, owns it too. own business and sells at Bonanza. She wanted to add a few tips regarding Angela’s bill of materials.

  • We put in a full package slip with our phone number, email, detail of what they bought, and a hand-signed thank you note.
  • The thank you note has all the sites we sell to and may include a coupon code to get the buyer back for another sale.
  • Communication is the key to generating sales online. Because a buyer can’t “see” you, the only way to make a sale is to communicate via email. Not being able to answer is like walking into a brick/mortar shop and all the salespeople just stare at you without saying a word.
  • Online sales need a foundation. It costs nothing to list here on Bonanza unless you want membership or other add-ons. Therefore, expanding to Bonanza in addition to other markets gives the seller another opportunity to be seen on the web. It is a total marketing tool for any seller.

“So, I know this is just MY industry specific, but we sell a range of biodegradable products. cremation pottery intended to be placed or thrown into bodies of water and is an honorable way to sprinkle the ashes of your loved ones in water and now spring is here and the weather is getting nice, we have seen a boom in their sales. these items. For other sellers it may be things like spring clothing, bikes or outdoor activity gear, but for us right now that’s the biggest factor.”

“This time of year I’m trying to clean up lists, add lists, redo Twitter and work on my business Facebook page. I also try to clean up my Pinterest boards by removing/updating images.”
