Some of you may have noticed that Banana Republic launched last month. BR Baby, collections with quality staples such as thick knit sweaters for the little ones and pima cotton! Nori and I love pairing each other, but too often, guys stay out of their cute mommy and me style. I was excited to see that BR Baby includes several classic pieces that both Rio and I can wear a lot together and separately!
Striped Sweater
This classic preppy sweater it comes in both the tan/white combination we wear and the navy/white version. The women’s version is 100% organic cotton with a comfortable and loose fit, which I love. Some of the critics found the fit too boxy, but this is the sweater style I live for and a half fold from the front makes a difference. It’s so comfortable and a great weight that it feels substantial without being too thick as you head into spring. I paired it with leggings, white jeans, gray jeans + a trench and also these slim chiseled trousers i just got it. These pants feature a versatile ivory color, crease-resistant medium fabric (remember the material has a smooth, lightly coated surface) and sits on me with no waistline.
The sailor style collar is very beautiful in the version for the little ones. I would also like to point out that the baby diapers I bought for Rio are a little big. I bought the sweater in the usual size but it’s too small for the pants.
Summer Models
This beautiful printed fabric has a tulle, lightweight feel and comes in 2 options for women (one longer maxi and short wrap dress I have) plus DARLING matching dresses In baby girl sizes from 0-3M to 18-24M.
For men, the coordination pattern of this reversible bucket hat It’s a sweet little way to coordinate family vacations and beach trips without going overboard.
