whbm petite jeans review

I was working with WHBM on an Instagram project (see video here) and I loved some of the pieces so much that I wanted to share some more details here! I’m a longtime fan of the brand for its more unique pieces (like this stunning dress!) and the fit that usually doesn’t require any modifications on me. They also offer free shipping and returns for small garments as it is an online only department. While you can get each of these pieces in petite sizes, many also come in standard sizes and longer inseam lengths!

one. High Waisted Jeans

In classic, petite and curvy bodies

These are a great true slim-straight jean with a more up-to-date cut, yet still have the familiar, flattering look of the skinny. What I appreciate about the smaller pant sizes is that it actually hits just above my ankle with a 24-inch inseam and doesn’t need to be cut or wrapped any more. While this particular pair has its woes, the distressed areas are all reinforced with denim patches underneath, so none of your skin really shows up. The rise is very comfortable, not too high and does not leave a waist gap on me. Compare to my Levi’s, which is more of a stiff non-stretch jeans, they are stretchy.

2nd. Studio Blazer

In regular and petite sizing

It is a sharp looking nice quality blazer with full lining. There are currently no reviews under petite sizing, but if you click on standard sizing you’ll find several dozen reviews. This blazer is made from a medium weight (not thin) woven twill fabric that has a tailored fit and stretches a bit. The crest buttons are a nice pop against the stark white without creating as much contrast as gold. The inside of the sleeves has a preppy contrast stripe that you can show off if you choose to turn it over and wear it 3/4 length.

3. Comfort Stretch Slim Ankle Trousers

In 9 colors for short, regular and long inside seams.

I really love WHBM’s comfortable stretch collection and have had a few pieces over the years! As with jeans, the fit is very petite-friendly, even for shorts like me (under 5′ tall), with a perfect length that hits the waistline and just above the ankle. True to its name, the material is flexible and comfortable to sit on for long periods of time and continues to look stylish and professional. Compared to my other favorite J.Crew Cameron pants These shoes, with a slightly narrower waist, are a little more comfortable for all-day wear due to the stretch.

4. Tweed Marine Jacket

Petite and regular sized

Inspired by Chanel with a thicker texture, braided yarn trim. Because of its style, it has a shorter, boxer cut compared to the slim, tailored fit of the white blazer top, but looks good with higher waisted bottoms and jeans.
