last month my friend Jasmine we were visiting and had fun exploring all parts of the city on foot and doing this little thing. Video clip. She has a great casual style and we often found each other rocking some variations of the same minimalist outfit formula:
- long belted jacket
- pullover sweater from the same color family
- thin dark bottoms or leggings
- dark ankle booties
This comes together very quickly but always looks classy and I apply it regularly to my coats of all colors (camel, grey, black, cream…). Depending on the choice of bottom and boot style, variations of this formula can go from super casual with flat boots and black leggings to more stylish with trousers and a heeled boot. shown here.

As mentioned in a recent post, this is Jasmine’s ditch of The Drop, which I had a chance to try. I haven’t been able to find a taller, lightweight daily visor this year, but this is a surprisingly good option for someone who is slightly taller and has longer arms. I don’t buy a lot of Amazon outfits and I personally did not expect how light and flattering this trench would be. A midi I’ve been really loving lately, almost maxi size, but keep in mind that the sleeves will be long for the minions. I’m trying on my friend’s size XS and this one starts in XXS online.
The most comfortable “leather” slim pants
i love these faux leather bottoms It’s a great ingredient for a minimal outfit formula earlier this year and when I want something a little sharper than regular leggings or jeans. These are size 0 petite (fits like 00 petite) waist and inseam length work perfectly for me.
I love how these are cut between a leggings and a trouser – not tight to the legs like tights, but not as loose as a trouser. I’m really comfortable with these, even at kids’ birthday parties and play trips who don’t have a problem squatting and bending over! They stand out among my other “leather” bottoms thanks to their supple stretch and soft fleece inner lining. me too wore them here to pick apples with a simple black T-shirt and poncho.
