April Locker Room Diary at Talbots

Happy Tuesday ladies. There’s tons of new stuff to see at Talbots, and one more big sale going on, so here’s my April locker room diary at Talbots. Today I did a lot of mixing and matching to show you options for how you can style things. Let me know in the comments if this helps.

I was very excited to see that this 100% cotton shirt has a 100% cotton lining. Too many manufacturers put polyester linings on cotton clothing, which defeats the purpose of a cool, breathable fabric. This dress also comes this edition, this editionand this edition. I’m wearing 6. A petite would be a better length for me, but on my tall torso, the waist would be too high. Fitting a dress to the hem is much easier than trying to move a fitted waist.

Talbots has done everything for this fun lemon print this spring and I can’t wait to try it. This canvas A-line skirt is a cotton/spandex blend with a side zip. I am wearing a misses 4 so it stays true to size. The petite measures 1″ shorter.

This tank top is available in three colors in all sizes from Talbots. I wore a misses 4 that I could barely cover and went home with an 8. The cotton sweater takes some of the print from the skirt. Available in 6 gorgeous colours. I’m wearing a petite medium size.

Here’s the same print on the Perfect 10 1/2″ shorts. It’s a cotton/spandex blend with a front zip and hook closure. I’m wearing a 4 in one tank top. The split neck tee comes in 6 colors XS-3X. The white is nice and opaque.

This hot pink is bright and fun! At Misses 4 I wear slim-leg jeans that are too long for me, but they also come in petite, plus and petite. These jeans are coming 4 colors hereblue toilet print here, dark wash denim hereand medium wash jeans are here. It has a high waist and a classic slim leg.

This print sleeveless blouse 100% lightweight cotton in a mix of cheerful colors. I’m wearing a petite medium size. The long cardigan comes in bright papaya and this hot pink color. This is a small one. The Misses version is a full 2 ​​1/2″ taller. I like these tops Orion blue casual casual jeans. I’m wearing a 6 petite with unbuttoned cuffs.

This white denim pencil skirt works for a long time. I miss 4 and ordered the 6 minion. This is a very nice skirt that you can wear in spring/summer. i wear with one casual striped tee It runs exactly on size, in a small minion on the left. On the right, I styled the skirt with a fun split neck polka dot shirt This came home with me. I’m wearing a petite medium.

Same casual jeans as above, this time a striped boat neck T-shirt with a lemon motif. I’m wearing a little lady. Do you prefer compressed or compressed? maybe with this fun belt?

This toile denim jacket goes well with many things. I have several denim jackets and I love the fit. It’s a minor loss, being only 1/2″ taller than the petite version. I usually size it up to a medium to keep it loose and roomy.

Here is a denim pencil skirt designed in 2 ways. one on the left tasseled Chambray jacket It has a subtle Chanel vibe. It only comes in misses and I’m wearing size 6. The boxy shape and crewneck aren’t my favourite, but it would look great on a slightly curvy woman. Sleeves are wrist length.

These are the Perfect shorts It comes in 8 colors. I’m wearing navy blue on Misses 4. The linen popover shirt comes in this blue striped or aqua version. I’m wearing a little miss that hugs the bust a bit, so it stays true to size.

An inch may not seem like much, but it makes a big difference when you’re petite. The shorts on the left are perfect petite shorts with a 9 1/2″ inseam. The Perfect shorts on the right are missing a 10 1/2″ inseam.

Last year We talked about combining a shorts with a linen blazer. These two looks are definitely more casual but also a step up from a simple tee. Do you wear a blazer or jacket with shorts?
