Happy Monday ladies. It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Bare Minerals lipstick. A vegan, hydrating lipstick with an intensely pigmented array of nature-inspired hues from freshly picked reds, blooming pinks, sunset corals, earthy nudes and succulents.
My first lipstick color was Grace, one of the softest nude pinks. It is not sheer and provides great coverage.
I switched to Romance, a blushing peony. Around Christmas, I tried the classic red, Courage, but I’ve never been a fan of red and couldn’t get used to seeing it in it.

Here in Mexico, as the light feels brighter and the sun is definitely stronger, my paler lipsticks are feeling pale and I find myself reaching for it. this shadow of Wisdom, which is a bright orchid. It’s impossible to get an exact idea of what these colors actually look like, so I tested them on my arm to show you. Boy, was it that much fun to clean…it’s not!
You can see how much brighter the wisdom looks than the other pinks.
Joy is candy pink. Confidence is a pink carnation. Creativity is a ripe watermelon. Wisdom is a bright orchid. Not every store carries all colors, so I shop around. Who knows if it will feel so bright when I get home, but for now, I love it.
How this cross body for a burst of color? My daughter noticed Kurt Geiger bags last Christmas, but they were each in one bright solid color that seemed too much to me. Now, this rainbow bag is gone. They adorn these bags with a special crystal-embellished eagle head, inspired by an old jewel-encrusted ring belonging to the company’s Creative Director.
The sneakers are a little lower profile but equally bright, and they come with colorful hearts if you’re not a fan of stripes. Can you see these with white jeans and a blue top like this?
