Abercrombie petite white linen pants

Here in Boston, while warmer days are felt far, far away, I know some of you live in milder climates or are planning upcoming trips! I love airy linen trousers, a summer and holiday must-have, but it’s hard to find white trousers that are petite and loose, and especially those that don’t show through.

Abercrombie has a great foundation linen trousers currently in multiple colors and inseams (bonus: the white color has a full lining) and from past experience, the Short option is selling out fast, so now I’m sharing it even in the middle of winter! A few other selling tips:

1. Linen pants style: for dinner/drinks

I love the stark contrast of a stylish black and white pairing, and you can easily reverse this look with black pants and a white top. The same top comes in a blue and white floral pattern that would be super cute with these pants or jeans. The upper has a lightly built bone structure with a softening effect on the bodice (it’s not a heavy bone at all, so it doesn’t feel stiff or restrictive). The fabric is flowy and the sleeves are only slightly puffy, which is good for those who don’t like a built and bulky sleeve.

If you’re deciding on a trouser color, remember that creases are inevitable on linen-blend trousers (and this is no exception), but the crease on a black pair is slightly less visible than on lighter colours.

2. Linen pants style: for business/meeting

If you need punchy tanks – A+F’s recently released ottoman rib collection is great. I have both the square neck tank pictured above and sweater shirtand these are thicker, solidly weighted knit tops. Compared to the tank, the tee option is a little firmer (maybe just a little thicker?) and feels smooth, soft on the inside of the skin.

when we compare Reform Julia sweater tank I love it, the Abercrombie ottoman tank top has slightly narrower shoulder straps, more flexibility, a slightly thinner weight, and is a little smaller. The color “Beige” has taupe tones and pairs perfectly with comfortable blazers in Light Taupe. FYI their blazer is straighter cut, casual style and you can see the whole arm length here on me.

3. Linen pants style: casual / errands

I wanted to show off these trousers with a few other shoe options because the Short length goes so well with flat shoes, low heels, and even sneakers. I thought these pants would look stylish with both my Madewell sneakers and shoes. Converse platform sneakers without dragging it on the ground!
