Good Friday ladies. I popped into my local Chicos earlier this week and was surprised to find her pretty naked. Their website is full of great stuff and the girls were bringing new products from the back so I’ll be back for a trial session later. i noticed this A model wearing a very wearable outfit, but not the type to flatter me at 5’4, so I played around with some options.
This tunic is a gorgeous cranberry shade (also available in olive). It’s not available in petite, and even so, the shape can often overwhelm shorter women, so I played around with some styling options. Some worked, others not so much 🙂
First I tried to open this navy tank top, front bound. I don’t know about you, but this doesn’t work for me. The side slits only let me tie the front, but it feels like there’s too much going on with this look.
On the right, I let the tunic remain open and added a fake crocodile belt to jeans. I would add longer to this pendant necklace like this or this layer necklaceand wear navy blue suede booties are like this.
So what are your thoughts? Would you try this look?
How would you style it and what shoes would you wear?
