Hello girl, hello! Today we talk about where to shop for ALL sizes of swimwear brands.
At The Curvy Fashionista, we’re celebrating PLUS SIZE SWIMMING WEEK (so exciting!) and we’re excited to share the best size swimwear brands to find YOUR best swimwear for 2023.
Okay, we’ve come up with a little system when we’re talking about swimwear brands, including size.
Unlike other brand briefs (like our size) wedding dress collectionFor example), most companies can’t produce TOTALLY custom sizes for plus size swimwear, which means the size charts have stopped somewhere.
Obviously, the production process for swimming is a little different.
SOOOOO, that’s why we’ve put together this list with plus size swimwear brands over size 6X or size 30. We know we need brands without limits to be REALLY inclusive, but we ALSO want to provide a source of rad for our community.
We also wanted to make sure we took this opportunity to highlight the many independent independent brands and small companies that have some of the MOST COMPREHENSIVE swimmer sizes on the market today!
In the list below, I’ve also ranked the most inclusive brands by size chart. After all, one brand’s 5X is another brand’s 3X. Waist size is what we care about!
Well, now that we’ve cleared that Knowledge, let’s move on to our list of the best inclusive swimwear brands!

First on our list is NYC-based indie and slow fashion brand Smart Glamor!
Swim up to 15X with a 79″ waist size (more customization available)

SuperFit Hero is such a fun brand and I love the color blocking on this plus size swimsuit!
Available up to size 7X with a waist size of 79 inches

Next up is ULLA POPKEN! I wish this brand would include visibly plus size models, but here we are!

First on our list are swimsuits from Lane Bryant, including size!
This brand floats up to size 38/40! Currently, the Lane Bryant team is updating their size chart with information about measurements from size 32 onwards!

NOT ALL swimsuits at Swimsuits for All go up to size 44, but there are some! Be sure to use the filter to narrow your selection.
Size 44 corresponds to a 65″ waist according to the size chart.

The Woman Within technically has plus size swimsuits up to size 44, but most stop at sizes 40!

Size Included Swimwear Tips!
Here are a few tips to keep in mind when shopping for swimsuits, including size:
- Swimming size charts are DIFFERENT! I know it sounds weird, but the swimsuit size chart is often 100% different from regular clothing! You may need to go one size up when swimming – so ALWAYS check the size chart!
- Follow bloggers and influencers with a similar body shape to you! Real talk, it can be HARD to find a plus-size model whose body looks like mine, so I like to follow other influencers to see what looks good – so I can grab it! 😉
- Get your measurements! Make sure you get your body measurements before deciding which size to get (a buddy might be able to help!)! This is very important and will probably save you a LOT of time shopping around!
And finally? DON’T FORGET TO WEAR WHAT YOU WANT! Life is short! Seize the day! You deserve a cute swimsuit that makes YOU happy! Your arms, stomach, hips, calves, etc. show! You got this baby!!!
