OK, listen to me! These plus size swimsuits from Torrid are not designed for pregnant women. HOWEVER! In my experience (some carry my weight on my stomach), Torrid swim bottoms are super supportive, especially those made of strong mesh. I’ve never been pregnant but I think these are worth checking out!

Tips for Plus Size Maternity Swimwear Shopping
- Two Pieces is Better Than One! While we love plus size one-piece swimsuits, you’ll probably find it easier to find a swimsuit you love (in non-pregnancy plus size brands!) if you buy a two-piece swimsuit with different sizes on the bottoms. than the top! (As shared above, we love TorrId plus size swim bottoms made with POWER MESH!)
- Shop Second Hand! Talking to my best friends who are pregnant, they really regret not checking out websites like Poshmark or Mercari to find gently used (or even NWT) plus size maternity clothes. New moms and new parents often sell their stuff when they have a baby!!
- BICYCLE SHORTS! While they won’t last long in chlorinated water (they probably wear out faster than real swimsuit fabric), you can definitely wear plus-size cycling shorts for a little extra support! I definitely recommend checking out Yitty’s cycling shorts! <3
